  • 4. How valued do you feel by BAE Systems?
  • I feel that i am valued as much as i should be, I work along side people in jobs and recently i have been given my own jobs to do without the help of others so it shows that they trust me/think i have the skills.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I am the first trainee to have come into this department so at the moment, it requires quite a bit more organising so that i know at least a plan of the entire structure of my course. I have been looked after though and they always have work to give me so it's okay

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • As much as i need. When i am given a job to do, my manager will help me with any questions i have for them. Other people in the office are always willing to help me as well.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Again, as much as i need. They provide me with the tools i need for my job and general help with the trainee schemes. They keep me up to date with what is going on in the business and how it will affect me as a trainee.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It suits well, I am not the best with money so at the moment, a lot of it is getting spent instead of saving but i am adjusting myself to be better at saving.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • I don't fully understand the question but there are plenty of clubs and social activities that people in BAE organise. There is a wide variety of them so there should be something for everyone.

  • 9. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a reputable business with friendly and helpful people. There is always someone there to help you if you need it and the salary is more than good enough. There are also many external benefits to being part of BAE

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Make sure you sell yourself, give details on all of the things that you are good at. Definitely do not lie on your application as they will know and just make sure you put all of the information you can into the application.
