My role as a business support assistant is to help with day to day tasks such as policy creation, email template drafting, creating tax schedules, setting up clients in our systems.
Yes, I have learnt many new skills specific to the insurance industry, but i also think in this role i have developed my communication and people skills due to the nature of this role.
I enjoy it alot.
I would say our prgram is very well organised, each week we have calls that help/teach us about insurance and different aspects of the working life which is useful as an apprentice with only 1 years experience.
We receive loads of support.
Loads - we have sessions run by our apprenticeship provider to help us with out exams.
A fair bit, everything i've learnt so far in LM1 and Lm2 has helped me understand my role better.
