Technical apprentice. Have 1 year engineering training, and then go on to shop floor and technical placements on site. This involves all engineering areas of the company.
Yes, I have learnt a lot of skills to help in the aircraft industry and in other workplaces. I also go to college to study engineering
The programme is good as is varies a lot and you can choose which role you want to go into ie. Fitter, electrician, machinist, technician. Get to see and work on aircraft
Very valued. The apprebnticeship programme has been going for years, so everywhere you go there are ex-apprentices who have been through the same experience
The programme in general is very good as you get o see such a wide variety of roles in the company. Poor in some respects, such as the college used and organisation of placements
Designated team to deal and help with apprentices. Receive a lot of supprt, with regular meetings. The assessor team are good in general.

Salary is very good in comparison to other apprenticeships, and improves with every target met i.e. College awards and nvq certificates.
Apprentices organise things to do outside of work, but other than that not really. There are awards and schemes, but generally for few.
Yes
Great way to get into the company. Get fully trained in your role and get to see a lot of the company, other roots could not give you such a good view of job opportunitis
Join clubs, strip down cars/bikes, volunteer, work really hard on the application and work on general maths/science. Do a lot of research into the company.
